PHOTO: Russell Brand & Alec Baldwin Rock Out in 'Rock of Ages'

There's nothing but love going around on the set of Rock of Ages! Russell Brand tweeted the first photo of himself and Alec Baldwin in costume for the big-screen adaptation of the Broadway play about a small-town girl who moves to Los Angeles in the late '80s.

"Now this has happened with me and Alec Baldwin," Brand wrote. "Does reality even matter?"

Brand and Baldwin will be joined by Tom Cruise, Julianne Hough and Mary J. Blige in the musical that features top '80s hits from Journey, Styx and Foreigner.

"On the set with the one and only Russell Brand," twittered Baldwin, who seems to be enjoying his time in acid-washed garb.

And director Adam Shankman can't stop gushing about the actors in his new flick, either! After retweeting the same photo, Shankman posted: "Russell and Alec (are) making my life heaven on the Rock of Ages movie."

So will all this early buzz translate into ticket sales? We'll have to wait until it hits theaters next summer to find out!
