2 Wired 2 Tired - Photography for Kids - Book Review

My daughter recently received a digital camera for her birthday. So I was happy to have a chance to review Photography for Kids!: A Fun Guide to Digital Photography by Michael Ebert & Sandra Abend.

Photography for Kids

The book begins with technical concepts that are easy for children to understand. ?It covers Zoom, Focus, Flash, and Macro settings as well as several others. ?Since my daughter has a point and shoot camera many of the settings they explained in the book did not apply to her camera.? However, I found most of the tips useful for my own camera.

The second part of the book emphasizes what subjects to shoot and ways to capture creative images. ?The book explains ways to capture animals, big and small, and even gives several different ways for the photographer to create a self portrait.

We loved the wonderful photographs throughout the book. ?However, I think the best part were the tips scattered throughout the book, such as ?Pick a day and photograph every animal you see that day.?? I know my daughter will use many of these tips, and I will too!

The product was provided for review. No compensation was received. The honest opinions are my own and that of my family.
